 Location:  Hi-Fi HOUSE
September 30, 2017
7:00pm - 10:00pm
"Purple Abstract"  a new collection of songs by Chikadibia Ebirim.

HI-FI HOUSE says “Chikadibia is one of Omaha's most creative and prolific young artists and producers. Following this year's wide release of the video and song "Black Lives Matter" Chikadibia has been hard at work producing new music and images for "Purple Abstract", an as-yet unreleased collection of 9 new songs. This was a special preview listen to his new work.

The evening will also showcase Chikadibia's work in the music video format with the screening of 3 original videos, as well as a guided meditation using singing crystal bowls, led by Gaye Marie and Chikadibia which aims to prime listeners to experience the new work from a refreshed mental state.

In a statement from the artist, "Purple Abstract" represents the chosen life of an artist; a life which transcends the red/blue divides Chikadibia recognized growing up in environments marred by gangs, and which allows for the abstract view of life and self to flourish into artistic work.”

Chikadibia teamed up with Verlies Produktion (and others) to create a music video to Chikadibia's most talked about song "Black Lives Matter."
Hear Nebraska says, "Omaha rapper Chikadibia spits a few scathing verses atop minimalist production in his latest single 'Black Lives Matter.' The track can be found on his new self-produced 'You Bleed Exactly What I Bleed' mixtape."
Mind & Soul Radio 101.3 FM says, "IT'S LIT", as Chikadibia talks with hosts, Black Excellence and The Sweetness, about his influences behind the track "Black Lives Matter" and much more.
UNDISPUTEDHH says, "No two thoughts are the same but the basis of his music is lyrical peace. He just dropped a mixtape 'You Bleed Exactly What I Bleed.' The mixtape is a creative masterpiece that opens our heart to what matters. It sounds like a huge video game comprised of working to make it, maintaining, and culture. 'You Bleed Exactly What I Bleed' is an amazing masterpiece." Chikadibia says, "This music video premiere will be a very intense experience for my team, for my city, and for me. I just appreciate all the support so far. Wear all black and bring people with you! [laughs] See you there!" #FTP

Chikadibia Presents another cultural production for the creative, the cultured, and the innovative.
Not only was this an event to celebrate the end of the exciting year of 2015, but it was a time where we all came together peacefully to unite and set our positive intentions as a developing city.
Another reason of the event, Chikadibia wanted to give Omaha artists the opportunity to wrap up the end of their year with a bang!
Most of all, Chikadibia just wants to have a great time!
